end round - deliberate

[After the cat vanishes, you have several days to enjoy the space you've carved out for yourself. The cat will not be around. However, the familiar box full of profiles and sheets of paper for voting will be left out.
These two days can be used to mingle or deliberate, before day twenty six, when your votes must be finalized.]
Timeline
Cast
Private Conversations
Voting has been unlocked. Characters will have until 8 PM EDT on May 14 to submit votes. This deadline may be shortened depending on progress. A post for day twenty six, the final day, will go up later in the week.
If your character intends to kill any character before the vote, please let the mods know by PM by 5 PM EDT on May 12.

[the fact that the cat hasn't been around at all has definitely put a little bit of extra panic into the situation, but Kaoru can be found in the main room regardless, sitting in the corner with a stack of papers on his lap and beside him. a lot seem to have scribbled notes written across. to anyone who may enter, he'll look up and offer a brief nod and a question.]
Have you seen the cat?
[he can be found in the room most of the day, when he's not wandering around looking for said cat, becoming increasingly frustrated. toward the end of the day, if anyone walks in, they'll get a different question:]
We should talk about our other possible options. Have you had any ideas...?
day 25, motorcycle track
[staying in the greenhouse for too long makes him dizzy, so he's gathered up a few flowers and can be found in the mouth of the motorcycle tunnel instead. there are still a few papers by his side but compared to the day before, he seems very unfocused, twirling the flowers between his fingers and seeming to stare through them rather than at them.]
day 24
...The cat said that he didn't have enough power to send the others home. Maybe there's a way to get him more power?
There's magic inside of me, as the Rose Duelist... I can't really use it without my deck, and I guess I don't need it since I don't intend to fight in any more card wars. I wonder if he could take that and use it to save another person.

Maybe... It's worth it to ask. [his expression grows grim again.] But it's not going to be any use one way or another if we can't find him.
[it's his belief that the cat may not even show up for the vote, and if it does, it may just be to kill the three people chosen and ollie right back out. that's cutting it far too close...]
Announcement
[If she counted her fingers correctly (and she only has five on each hand!), there were three people they had to replace for the ones they saved. She knows one guy in particular is going to volunteer himself, but-- She's no going to let him if she can help it!]
[So. She heads over to the main room, making sure other people are around before taking a deep breath and piping up with an attempt at her regular enthusiasm:]
If there's no way to get us all out of here... then I'll stay behind and give the cat tummy rubs while you all kick butt at home! Just promise me you're not going to let anything nasty happen when you get home! [....]
And Athena and Mr. Gavin and Ema... you have to take good care of Nick and Pearly for me.

No.
Maya, I'm sorry, but we can't accept that.
[And she'll casually speak for everyone else on this.]

Mr. Wright cares too much about you. He tried to turn me away when I first met him, and knowing what I know now I think it's because he was sad that you weren't there. He'd never forgive us if we left you here.
[Not to mention that she would never forgive herself.]

DISCUSSION
I believe we need to talk about what to do once our time has run out. Which isn't to say we give up on any other alternative - if we can find a way out of this mess without having to sacrifice three people, great. But if we don't, we should have a plan in mind.
Before we start, I'd like to make two stipulations if I can. One, we don't vote for anyone under eighteen. [SO SIT YOUR ASS BACK DOWN MAYA] And two, we don't force anyone to sacrifice themselves. No matter who it is, that would make all of us no more than murderers. [that being said, yeah he has doubts about whether they'll be able to find enough adults to volunteer]
That being said and done, I volunteer to be one of the votes. I'm an adult, I've lived a very fulfilling life and have no regrets, and I should have been one of the ones to die anyway.

Ty Lee crosses her arms, frowning. She gets the feeling Klavier's going to be the only one of the possessed persons stepping forward, here, but she's way too tired to bother to say a word about it. In all likelihood no one is going to be able to live with themselves no matter the outcome, so does it really matter who does or doesn't step forward?
Probably. She's just been spending most of her time in the circus room, occasionally fiddling with one of Mai's knives, though Ty Lee hasn't the slightest idea how to use them. She's been unable to teach herself Mai's trick of spinning a knife around carelessly, although attempting it made her feel a little better.
...Apparently she's just not contributing to this conversation because anything she could say won't help so...well. ]
